*Job Description
- Develop and communicate the import-export department plan, establish and implement short-term and long-term goals for the department.
- Build and maintain relationships with forwarders, shipping lines, customs, customers, etc.
- Participate in negotiating prices for import-export contracts.
- Monitor and analyze market risks.
- Responsible for import-export activities, monitoring and handling shipments from contract signing to warehouse delivery. Specifically:
- Prepare or check declarations, coordinate with delivery services to complete licensing procedures, customs procedures, customs clearance, and delivery to the warehouse.
- Handle post-clearance issues with suppliers and relevant parties if any.
- Manage the import-export department: personnel, job assignments for each staff member.
- Monitor and evaluate the KPIs of staff in the department.
- Report departmental work results and performance to the leadership team.
- Resolve arising issues and incidents.

*Requirements:

  1. Knowledge:
    - Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Import-Export, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
    - Proficiency in English (listening, reading, writing).
  2. Skills:
    - Management skills.

    - Communication, presentation, persuasion skills.
    - Problem-solving skills.
    - Reporting skills.
    - Proficiency in import-export operations, understanding of procedures and regulations in goods importation and exportation, documents, import-export procedures.

    4. Other Requirements:**

  • Experience: Over 5 years of working in import-export, with at least 3 years of experience as a Head/Deputy Head of Procurement Department.
